Ayurveda is Slow-Acting - a Myth

From my clinical experience so far, many patients have got results in an appreciable small amount of time.

The patient's qualities play a key role in determining whether the medicine / therapy prescribed is fast or slow acting.

If the patient follows faithfully the instructions, such as taking the medicines in the dose, along with the appropriate anupaana (adjuvant) and the avoidable food items are avoided, then I see no chance of slow-acting.

In parallel, the doctor should be efficient and skilful enough to prescribe the right medicine/therapy at the right time after thorough analysis of the patient's condition.

Case 1: N.S (female, aged 62 yrs) - Grade 2 Hypertension, with a B.P of 162/92 mm Hg.

Advise given: Prab.vati, Arj along with intake of tender coconut and elaichi bananas. Coffee to be stopped during medication.
